  6. Coaching for Improved Work Performance - F Fourniers.
    This is an excellent introduction and handbook to coaching, a must for managers.
  7. The measure of a leaderA & J Daniels.
  8. Performance Management - Aubrey Daniels.
    More detail on performance management also a good read, consolidates your knowledge. This has the balanced scorecard format in it.
  9. I saw what you did and I know who you are - Janis Allen.
    Lots of ideas for R+, good book for managers who want to create a more R+ environment.

    This book explains what has happened in the last 10 years regarding the companies that have thrived and the ones just going through the motions. A real eye opener.
  2. Results based Leadership - Ulrich etc.
    Great book on business, lots of examples of successful businesses & leaders.
  3. The Practise of ManagementP Drucker.
    An old book but very informative.
  4. The 20% Solution - John Cotter.
    Cotter is full of great ideas and has very focussed ways of articulating common business/people problems and their solutions.
  5. The Heart of Coaching - Thomas Crane.
    steady book on coaching.
  6. Maverick - Ricardo Semler.
    More a novel, huge success story of business but before he got there, he suffered.
  7. The Hungry Spirit - Charles Handy.
    Charles Handy is a modern day philosopher, most of what he has said in the past is now true, and this is a great insight into the future.
  8. All Hat and no CattleChris Turner.
    the Xerox story, and good read.
  9. The elephant and the fleaCharles Handy.
  10. The Principles of Scientific Management – FW Taylor.
    The father of management science.
  11. The Tipping PointMalcolm Gladwell.
    Has a weak middle but the sides are good.
